softVNS 2 is a set of external objects for MAX/MSP that allows you to process video in real-time.

v.lumakey External single stream: dissolve between stream 1 and stream 2 dual stream: use stream 3 to determine the mix between stream 1 and stream 2 on a pixel-by-pixel basis

v.max External single stream: pass along the maximum of the pixel level and the int. dual stream: pass along the brightest pixel components between two streams

v.min External single stream: pass along the minimum of the pixel level and the int dual stream: pass along the darkest pixel components between two streams

v.mix External v.mix allows you to add two streams together with separate gain controls.

v.motion External v.motion implements "frame differencing".

v.movie External v.movie allows you to play QuickTime movies into softVNS 2.

v.noise External v.noise produces a frame filled with random numbers.

v.noisegate External v.noisegate sets all pixels with brightnesses < noise threshold to zero.

v.nor External single stream: do a bit-wise NOR operation on each pixel's brightness dual stream: do a bit-wise NOR between the pixel brightnesses of two streams

v.not External Invert each bit of the brightness of each incoming pixel

v.offset External v.offset offsets the incoming stream by a true floating point offset.

v.or External single stream: do a bit-wise OR operation on each pixel's brightness dual stream: do a bit-wise OR between the pixel brightnesses of two streams

v.packrgb External v.packrgb takes 3 gray scale streams and combines them into an rgb image.

v.packyuv External v.packyuv takes 3 gray scale streams and combines them into an yuv image.

v.packy_uv External v.packy_uv takes 2 gray scale streams and combines them into an yuv image.

v.peek External v.peek reports the value of each component in the specified pixel or the values that make up a column or row of the stream.

v.poke External v.poke sets the components of a single pixel.

v.presence External v.presence is used predominant to detect presence.

v.qteffects External v.qteffects is a simple wrapper for standard Quicktime effects

v.quadruplesize External v.quadruplesize is a very efficient object for up-sampling a stream to 4 times its size

v.quartersize External v.quartersize is a very efficient object for down-sampling a stream to 1/4 size.

v.reciprocal External v.reciprocal outputs a brightness

v.record External v.record allows you to capture a stream to disk as a quicktime movie.

v.regions External v.regions allows you to draw or otherwise define regions within the stream.

v.resize External v.resize crops and resizes streams.
